A leading mental health trust in London offers an occupational therapy apprenticeship for aspiring occupational therapy assistants. The role includes working under supervision to provide high-quality service to clients, supporting their independence and safety in daily activities. Applicants should be motivated and passionate about occupational therapy, balancing work with study to complete a degree level qualification.
Do you want to become an occupational therapist? This is an opportunity to apply for the occupational therapy apprenticeship as an occupational therapy assistant within the Lakeside Mental Health Occupational Therapy team.
You will be fully supported with study leave and off-the-job training to meet the requirements of the occupational therapy apprenticeship. The course will include clinical placements in other settings to broaden your experience.
You will need to be self-motivated and able to manage the competing demands of working full time alongside studying for a degree level qualification. It goes without saying that you will also need to be passionate about occupational therapy.
