Overview

Are you a recently Occupational Therapist looking to embark on a rewarding career, where you are supported in everything you do? Join Rhodes Wood Hospital in Hatfield and give your career the best start. You will be part of a specialist inpatient eating disorder service for children and young people aged 12 to 18, working alongside a dedicated team that provides specialist care designed to support women diagnosed with emerging or personality disorders. This fixed‑term role covers maternity leave.

Responsibilities
  • Providing comprehensive OT assessments.
  • Planning and reviewing OT treatment programmes under supervision.
  • Identifying and actioning referrals both in‑house and to external agencies.
  • Supporting the planning, evaluation and audit of practices, clinical pathways and protocols at St Mary’s Hospital.
  • Ensuring contemporaneous, written and electronic records and activity data are maintained following professional and service standards.
Qualifications
  • A Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • A UK HCPC registration or applied for.
  • Evidence of ability to research, plan, implement and evaluate a project for specific groups.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
