Overview

Occupational Health Technician - Ipswich. Package Details: £25,000 - £28,700 Per Annum + Excellent Company Benefits. Contracted Hours: Permanent, 37.5 Hours Per Week (Monday - Friday - Flexible Working Hours). Location: Ipswich (Overnight stays required).

Role and Responsibilities
  • Drive and operate a mobile screening unit; a valid full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Provide a range of occupational health services onsite and in clinics, including health surveillance (Audiometry, Spirometry, Vision Tests, Skin Inspections & HAVS).
  • Conduct Pre-Employment Medicals, Assessments & Questionnaires.
  • Perform Basic Health Checks (Blood, Glucose, Urinalysis).
  • Drug & Alcohol Testing.
  • Phlebotomy.
  • Provide Health Promotion & Wellbeing Advice.
Requirements
  • Current or previous experience within Health, Wellbeing or Fitness sectors.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously as an Occupational Health Technician.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills within a team.
  • Pro-active and motivated with the ability to handle diverse challenges.
  • Willingness to undertake extensive travelling and overnight stays when required.
  • A valid Full UK driving licence (Essential).
