Contract Details

• Contract Length: Until September 2025
• Location: Home working with bi-monthly visits to the OH Unit in Kidlington for health surveillance clinics, plus additional in-person visits for training and team meetings.
• IR35: Inside
• Pay Rate to Intermediary: £30.97 per hour

Spinwell is recruiting for an Occupational Health Advisor for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist occupational health advice to clients, establishing fitness for work for police officers, specials, police staff, and volunteers.
• Promote health, safety, and wellbeing among staff.

Skills and Experience

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health Nursing.
• Recent experience in an occupational health environment with proven emotional and psychological resilience.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt communication style for different stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
• Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information, adhering to RCN and TVP codes of ethics.
• Full UK driving license, with the ability to travel across the force area and work flexibly, including unsocial hours.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and willingness to learn new systems.
• Willingness to attend and implement safe workforce training and briefings.
