Job summary

A major health organization in the UK is recruiting Nursing students to work as Health Care Support Workers in Cardiff. As part of the Temporary Staffing Bank, you will support healthcare professionals, ensuring patients receive high-quality care. This role requires current nursing students who have completed at least one ward placement. Qualifications

  • Current nursing student who has completed your first ward placement.
  • Medical or midwifery students may apply but must attend the relevant training.
  • Ability to speak Welsh is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living activities such as eating, showering and using the toilet.
  • Take patient observations including blood pressure and temperature.
  • Communicate with patients and reassure them.
  • Assist nurses and other staff when needed.
  • Maintain a high standard of infection control procedures.
