About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Home Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our well‑established nursing home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong clinical and operational leader to deliver outstanding, person‑centred care while ensuring full regulatory compliance and high‑quality service delivery.

As Nursing Home Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff performance, maintaining excellent care standards, achieving strong CQC outcomes, and fostering a positive, supportive environment for residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong, visible leadership to the nursing and care teams
  • Ensure the home is fully compliant with CQC regulations and company policies
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care, safeguarding, and infection control
  • Manage and develop staff through supervision, training, and performance reviews
  • Oversee recruitment, retention, and rota management
  • Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and cost control effectively
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, commissioners, and external professionals
  • Lead on audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and person‑centred care
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN) with a valid NMC PIN (essential)
  • Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step up
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and compliance
