Location: Falkirk

Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: £55,000

Compass Associates are working with a well-established care provider to recruit a Nursing Home Manager for a service in the Falkirk area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse Manager with at least two years' prior managerial experience to take the lead of a stable and well-performing service. The home has a strong reputation within the local community, consistent inspection grades and a dedicated team. The incoming manager will play a key role in maintaining high standards of care and ensuring the home continues to thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership and overall management of the nursing home.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a staff team.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, supervision, training and performance management.
  • Manage budgets, staffing and resources effectively.
  • Promote digitalisation and utilise electronic care planning systems (experience with PCS advantageous).
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, families, staff and external stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the service, maintaining strong inspection ratings.
  • Ensure robust safeguarding, risk management and health and safety practices.
Candidate Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN.
  • Minimum of two years' managerial experience within a nursing home environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff teams.
  • A passion for person-centred care and a commitment to quality improvement.
  • Experience of digital care systems and transformation.
  • A confident and approachable manager who can build positive internal and external relationships.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
