Overview

As a Band 4 Nursing Associate, you will work closely with service users, their families, friends, and carers to ensure safe, high-quality, and positive experiences. You will apply sound clinical skills, undertake effective risk assessments, adhere to evidence-based policies, and respect and empower individuals throughout the care planning process.

The inpatient ward focuses on rehabilitation, admitting patients from their homes and acute trusts. Join our organisation to help us deliver the best care.

Driving may be required for these roles as you may be asked to travel to other sites to provide support to community hospital colleagues if and when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide full holistic assessments and develop patient-centred care plans.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate delegated caseloads.
  • Supervise junior healthcare support workers and trainees.
  • Perform delegated clinical activities.
  • Provide individualised high-quality care to patients with relevant experience at Senior Healthcare Assistant level.
Working Arrangements

You will be expected to participate in 24-hour internal rotation, encompassing early, late, night, and long day shifts. Flexibility to move to other Community Hospital sites to meet service demands is required. We welcome flexible working arrangements and offer a range of work–life balance initiatives.
