Supply Desk are proud to be working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Rochester, known for its welcoming staff, well-resourced classrooms, and strong commitment to early childhood development. This school is looking for a dedicated EYFS support professional to join their team from October 2025 on a full-time, long-term basis—running through to the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities
  • Support the teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum through creative and play-based learning
  • Assist in planning and preparing classroom activities and resources
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to children, including those with additional needs
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor and support children's emotional, social, and cognitive development
  • Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support each child's progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Experience working in Nursery or Reception within a school or early years setting
  • Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3, Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, or equivalent - highly desirable
  • A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
  • A positive, caring, and proactive approach to supporting young learners
  • A valid enhanced DBS check on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
