Are you an enthusiastic, dedicated early years professional ready to take the next step in your childcare career? We are seeking a passionate Room Manager to join our warm and friendly nursery team. Whether your experience lies within the baby room or preschool, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, community-focused setting.

Our nurseries are open from 8:00am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday, 50 weeks of the year, giving you stability and a predictable working rhythm. You will work a 40-hour week on a flexible shift pattern created by our nursery managers on a weekly basis. We close for two paid weeks over Christmas, allowing you to enjoy a well-deserved break during the festive period.

As a Room Manager, you will be responsible for leading high-quality practice, supporting your room team, and ensuring that every child receives exceptional care and education. You will act as a role model of professional conduct and deliver activities that stimulate curiosity, creativity, and learning. The ideal candidate will be confident in planning, safeguarding, key person responsibilities, and building strong relationships with families.

We are looking for a Room Manager who is:

  • Level 3 qualified or above in Early Years
  • Experienced in running a nursery room, ideally as a Room Manager or senior practitioner
  • Knowledgeable in the EYFS and confident in delivering outstanding practice
  • Warm, approachable, and committed to child-centred care
  • Ready to lead by example while supporting and mentoring staff

This role is ideal for an experienced practitioner who wants to grow and develop within a small, supportive nursery. Whether you join as a baby Room Manager or preschool Room Manager, you will be valued, heard, and encouraged to shine.
