Our client is a warm and welcoming early years setting offering an inspiring environment where children can explore, learn, and thrive. They are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified practitioner with strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) who is ready to take the next step in their career. As Room Leader, you'"ll play a vital part in shaping the experiences of the children in your care, leading a team of practitioners to create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate your room team to deliver outstanding early years care and education
  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS guidelines
  • Maintain a child-centred environment that promotes learning through play
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Oversee daily routines, observations, and assessments to ensure every child's individual needs are met
  • Support and mentor staff, promoting best practice and continuous development
  • Work collaboratively with the wider leadership team to maintain high standards across the nursery
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) - essential
  • Proven leadership experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • A deep and confident understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Excellent communication, team leadership, and organisational skills
  • A nurturing, proactive approach with a genuine passion for early years education
