Job summary

A childcare recruitment agency is looking for a Nursery Room Leader to ensure children are in a safe and stimulating environment. This role involves daily responsibilities and requires NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent. The successful candidate will train staff and understand children's developmental needs. Responsibilities
  • Take day-to-day responsibility for an allocated area or room within the nursery.
  • Ensure children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.
  • Have a sound understanding of a child’s developmental requirements and provide a range of stimulating learning experiences designed to meet children’s all-round development.
  • Train and develop staff by imparting knowledge and skills.
  • Undertake an enhanced DBS check as required.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent.
