About our Nursery

Busy Bees Nottingham Toton, rated "Good" by Ofsted, has a capacity of 65 children. Our purpose-built nursery features an extensive range of learning and play resources, including a self-contained baby unit and a secluded outdoor play area, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment for all children. Conveniently located off the A52 on Minton Close, the nursery is within commuting distance of Derby and Nottingham. The M1 at Junction 25 is a short drive away, with a nearby bus stop on Morris Avenue serving routes 510 ECOnnect and 536. Free staff parking is available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
  • Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
  • Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
  • Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
Ideal Candidate
  • Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
  • Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience preferred (ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager, or Nursery Practitioner).
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
