Aspire People are working on behalf of a popular and welcoming Nursery in Kettering that is seeking a confident and nurturing Childcare Practitioner to join their dedicated team. This setting supports both mainstream and SEND learners, offering a truly inclusive and caring environment.

About the setting

This setting is the heart of the local community with a child-led learning ethos throughout the learner's journey. Children are based in rooms respective to their age and needs but have opportunities to mix regularly with every day outdoor sessions. The setting promotes positive reinforcement and provides specific support for individuals with SEND needs.

Responsibilities
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner
  • Proactive, outgoing and able to work flexibly as part of a team
  • Committed to safeguarding and supporting the welfare of children
  • Willing to engage in ongoing training and professional development
  • SEND knowledge is desirable but will consider applicants who have a passion and interest in working with SEND learners.
  • Experience in a Nursery/ Early Years setting is desirable but not essential - we welcome applications who have recently qualified and are looking for their first placement.
