A healthcare organization is seeking a part-time Nursery Nurse to provide direct nursing care in the Neonatal Unit. The Nursery Nurse (NN) will work under the direction and supervision of the Nurse in Charge, providing direct nursing care of the infants and their families to ensure promotion of patient safety, the health and development of the infants and contribute to the effective and efficient day to day running of the Unit.
The NN will lead, working in collaboration with the qualified nurses, on ensuring the discharge planning and preparations processes are followed for all babies. The NN working with the neonatal nursing team, facilitates the smooth running of the department, promoting the safety of the infants by identifying any problems that may impact on the patient's environment or experience.
