Role: Nursery Nurse

Location: Tower Hamlets, E3 4AL - Bow

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Long-Term, Full-Time

Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Scale: £95 – £105 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently working in partnership with a well-resourced nursery in Tower Hamlets, E3 4AL - Bow that requires an experienced Nursery Nurse to join their team. Key Responsibilities of a Nursery Nurse

As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting children’s development, learning and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include:

• Childcare & Supervision: Providing attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, welfare and emotional well‑being throughout the day.
• Learning & Development Support: Assisting with age‑appropriate activities, facilitating play‑based learning and supporting children’s physical, social and cognitive development.
• Daily Routines & Activities: Supporting daily routines such as mealtimes, naptimes and outdoor activities, helping to create a structured yet nurturing environment.
• Behaviour & Positive Guidance: Encouraging positive behaviour, supporting social skills and implementing appropriate guidance strategies.
• Communication & Reporting: Building strong relationships with parents and carers, providing updates on children’s progress and working closely with the nursery team to ensure continuity of care.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working in a nursery, childcare setting, or early years environment

A passion for early years education and child development

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children, parents and colleagues

Patience, reliability and a proactive attitude

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Enhanced DBS registered on the updated service (or willingness to obtain one)
