Role: Experienced Nursery Manager

Location: Kew TW9 (New nursery opening in October 2025)

Nursery; 70 placement

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £45000-£55000 P/A

Qualification: NVQ/Cache Level 3 or equivalent

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager who is ready for a greater challenge. You will be responsible for Managing your nursery setting including:

  • Delivering an Early Years curriculum which incorporates Montessori, HighScope and EYFS;
  • Creating a warm and welcoming environment for parents and children;
  • Recruiting, developing and managing a team of up to 12 staff;
  • Selling the nursery to new parents including conducting viewings;
  • Responding to all enquiries, both internal and external, in a timely manner;
  • Ongoing nursery communications with parents including weekly newsletters;
  • Operational planning;
  • Budgetary management and reporting;
  • Building excellent relationships with children, parents and colleagues;
  • Promoting child welfare and ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed;
  • Contributing to the reputation of our client’s Nursery Group.

What you will bring
  • Experience as Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager;
  • NVQ/Cache Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, NNEB, Montessori Diploma, Early Years Degree or QTS;
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and children's learning and development;
  • Leadership acumen;
  • Excellent staff management skills;
  • Experience in dealing with external organisations;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication;
  • Self-motivation, innovation and a positive outlook;
  • Strong planning, budgeting and organisational skills;
  • Lots of energy; and above all, a passion for delivering amazing educational experiences to children.
  • An Enhanced DBS check and reference checks will be carried out prior to employment.
