Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years / Childcare.
  • At least 4 years of experience working in a day nursery.
  • Experience of a management role in leading and supporting teams.
  • Understanding of Ofsted Requirements and up to date knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the nursery team and manage day-to-day operations.
  • Support the team in achieving high occupancy.
  • Ensure best practices and quality standards are adhered to.

About our Clients

Based in West Norwood on great transport links our clients busy nursery are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to support the day to day running of the Nursery. Leading the team and ensuring best practice always.

Our Clients are looking for a manager who has managed a number of settings has experience of taking a nursery through an Ofsted Inspection with experience of supporting their team growing occupancy. Hours are 40 per week Monday to Friday with a great salary c50k depending on experience together with Bonuses and other great benefits.

Requirements
  • Have a minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years / Childcare.
  • At least 4 years experience of working within a day nursery
  • Experience of a management role in leading and supporting a teams.
  • Understanding of the Ofsted Requirements and up to date knowledge of all changes in Ofsted or the Curriculum
  • A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing the best start in life.
  • A solid understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
  • Inspirational passionate and supportive leadership skills
  • Form bonds with children and their families ensuring each child feels secure and supported.
  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment resources and experiences offered to children.
Required Skills

  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment resources and experiences offered to children.
  • Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children.
