Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of nursery staff to ensure high standards of education and care.
  • Work with management to improve nursery operations.
  • Maintain a stimulating environment for children.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations.
  • Motivate and monitor the team for additional training.
  • Interview and induct new staff.
  • Facilitate Ofsted inspection and safeguarding matters.
  • Handle all nursery administration duties.

Are you a Nursery Manager looking for your next challenge? Have you been working as a Nursery Deputy Manager and you’re looking for the next step in your career?

We are looking to recruit a nursery manager for one of our fantastic nurseries based in Honor Oak.

Salary: to £39,000 - £48,000 per annum

Location: Honor Oak

Hours: 40 hours over Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nursery staff to ensure the highest standards of education and care are at the forefront of everything you do and all children receive a stimulating experience appropriate for their age and stage of development
  • Work with higher management to ensure the nursery is running in the best way it can and share common goals of any improvement
  • Maintain a stimulating environment for the children in the nursery setting
  • Make sure all compliance and legal ratios are met at all times
  • Motivating and monitoring the team to identify any additional training or support that may need to be given to staff
  • Interviewing and inducting all new staff joining the setting
  • Facilitate Ofsted inspection and any safeguarding matters
  • Be responsible for all administration duties associated with the nursery
Qualifications
  • Hold a level 3 qualification or above within early years
  • Ideally have previous nursery management experience
  • Have excellent knowledge of EYFS guidelines
  • Hold 2 years’ experience of leading a team
