Nursery Finance Administrator - Durham

At Durham University Day Nursery we aim to provide high‑quality childcare in a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children from 0 to 5. Responsibilities
  • Invoicing
  • Contract management
  • Ordering goods and services
  • Reconciling company credit card
  • Keeping training logs up to date
  • Creating newsletters for parents
  • Taking minutes and attending parent meetings
  • Updating nursery website
  • Updating policies, procedures and risk assessments
  • Liaising with university departments to ensure parent accounts are up to date
  • Dealing with general queries and office management duties
Working Pattern

Monday to Friday 9‑5 pm with 1‑hour lunch break. Occasional evenings and weekends for staff meetings or training if required.

Additional Information

The Nursery Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that administration and finance activities are completed accurately, in accordance with University policies and procedures, and that complete and up‑to‑date records are maintained.
