Overview

We\'re a family run childcare business that values and rewards its staff. We provide training and a structured professional development programme to ensure you flourish in the job. We are looking for a talented Nursery Cook who is passionate and dedicated to providing fresh, high-quality meals for young children up to 5 years at our Headingley Nursery. You will be running the bright nursery kitchen and while we have a menu to follow, you can make the role your own. Bring your ideas to the table!

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook nutritious meals for children, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Plan and organise menus that cater to dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and storage areas.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure timely meal service and address any dietary concerns.
  • Monitor inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment for children during meal times.
