A healthcare provider in Tasmania is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to lead HALT and TCP services. The successful applicant will exhibit strong leadership, clinical knowledge, and decision-making skills while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. The Launceston General Hospital is Tasmania's second largest hospital with a busy elective and emergency service. The LGH works closely with the University of Tasmania and is a major clinical teaching and research centre. The successful applicant will provide direction and leadership to HALT and TCP services ensuring the standards of patient care are in accordance with relevant legislation, clinical standards and evidence based practice.

The Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services. Additionally, it provides community health, mental health, and primary healthcare services to the Tasmanian community through more than 300 sites.

Permanent, full time, day worker position, working up to 76hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join the team.

$122,365 to $129,060 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
