A regional health service provider in Launceston is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager for the Emergency Department. You will lead nursing staff, manage resources, and ensure high standards of patient care. Ideal candidates will have strong nursing management experience and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. The Team:
The Emergency Department (ED) team within Hospitals North plays a critical role in providing immediate, life-saving care to the community. Comprising emergency physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, paramedics, allied health professionals, and support staff, the team works collaboratively to assess, diagnose, and manage acute medical conditions. Their multidisciplinary approach ensures timely and effective treatment for patients, while their integration with broader health services, such as primary care and public health, supports holistic care and continuity. Through their efforts, the ED team serves as the frontline responder, enhancing health outcomes and contributing to the overall well-being of the community.

Details of appointment:
Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.
Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $130,203 to $136,295 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
