Job description

Substance misuse prescribing nurse, providing access to medications that both manage withdrawal from substances of abuse and offer Detox in clinical setting or domiciliary setting.

Encourage Service Users to work towards recovery whilst maintaining stability.

Promote engagement with treatment plans and offer access to treatment promoting an every contact counts approach.

Provide management support for lower grades, supervision and appraisal.

Encourage long term condition compliance.
