Job summary

Qualifications

• Specialist experience in Nuclear Medicine / Molecular Radiotherapy required.
• Previous experience in a leadership role is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific support to the Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Protection services.
• Carry out QC for imaging and non-imaging equipment.
• Support Radiopharmacy QC.
• Train staff.

Skills

Experience of performing routine QC on imaging and non-imaging equipment and able to analyse results

Understanding of Radiation Protection Legislation

Good verbal and written communication skills

Good organisational skills

Ability to establish good working relationships

Knowledge of NHS software (e.g., CRIS, PACS, IsoStock)

Education

MSc in Medical Physics or equivalent
