Job description
Overview

Workplace Doctors is working with an established Occupational Health provider looking to expand their team of Occupational Health Advisors in North London. The client provides effective service and advice on work-related issues and health surveillance programmes. This is a full-time opportunity with typical hours Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, with some cover until 6:00pm on occasions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, qualified OHA to take on a new challenge and join a large, well-respected business in North London. The role offers the chance to establish your own area, network with clients, and be part of a market-leading team in the UK.

Responsibilities
  • 60% case management and 40% wellbeing
  • Set up a brand-new wellbeing programme for the business
  • Overall responsibility for the small onsite comprising OHN, OHA, Physio and OHT
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Health, health and safety and other guidelines/legislation
  • Advise, monitor, and assess clinical practice of the OH team
  • Assess, plan, implement, deliver and evaluate programmes of care
  • Work with divisional directors/managers to implement company objectives
  • Recognise development needs of junior or less experienced staff, and maintain training plans
  • Explore and develop further OH business opportunities

Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • NMC Registration Essential (Nursing & Midwifery Council)
  • Be a Registered General Nurse
  • Be on Part 3 of the NMC register
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously when needed
  • Post-registration experience in a variety of settings
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Professional awareness and ongoing professional development
  • Good knowledge base of clinical conditions
