You will play a key role in supporting individuals experiencing challenges with non-opiate substances such as cannabis, cocaine, benzodiazepines, and prescription drugs, delivering effective recovery-focused interventions that empower positive lifestyle change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out comprehensive assessments for individuals presenting with non-opiate substance misuse
  • Develop and review personalised recovery care plans with service users
  • Deliver structured one-to-one and group interventions, including motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and CBT approaches
  • Provide harm reduction advice to minimise risks associated with substance misuse
  • Support clients in accessing wider services such as housing, healthcare, education, and employment
  • Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring regular reviews and updates to care plans
  • Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns appropriately
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and partner agencies to deliver holistic support
  • Maintain accurate case records in line with confidentiality and data protection policies
  • Gather and report outcome data to contribute to service monitoring and improvement
