Job summary

A leading technology consultancy in Greater London seeks a Technical Lead for a remote contract role. In this hands-on leadership position, you'll lead technical discussions and ensure best practices in full-stack applications. Key qualifications include expertise in React, Node.js, Azure, and solid principles like BDD and TDD. You will also help estimate work efforts and articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. The position is for a 3-month contract at £450 per day, outside IR35.

Our client, an established and successful consultancy are looking for a Technical Lead to join them on a contract basis.

With head offices in the north of the UK and branches spreading across the globe, they’re a dynamic technology consultancy leader with a dedicated team of professionals, partnering with sector leaders.

This will very much be a hands‑on leadership role, and they are wanting someone who can lead by example and lead on technical discussions to ensure best practices.

We are looking for:

• Demonstrable and proven experience in full‑stack applications (incl. working knowledge of a range of technologies such as React, Node.js and TypeScript).
• Experience with Azure and ARM templates including dev and deployment of supporting cloud infrastructure (incl. pipelines).
• Excellent, in‑depth understanding of BDD, TDD and SOLID principles.
• In‑depth experience in rock‑solid Object‑Oriented programming, enterprise integration skills and microservice architecture skills.
• Experienced enough to be able to size up / estimate work and help others to do the same.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts to non‑technical people in a way they understand.
