Job summary

A logistics company in Southampton is seeking drivers to deliver bakery products starting early in the morning. You will drive a 3.5 ton vehicle and drop products at various locations, including supermarkets and schools. This position offers £15.75 per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £16.31 upon successful completion of the trial period.

Job description

Drivers will be asked to start between 2.30 and 4,00 am to deliver Bread and other bakery products to customers in and around Southampton.

Drivers will be driving a 3,5 ton boxed transit with a tail lift.

All products will be in cages or stacks.

The job will involve dropping cages onto tail lift and pulling goods into customers. This can be large and small supermarkets, bakeries or any business with a commercial kitchen and schools etc.

The average route will take approx 8-9 hours

You will get £15.75 per hour for the first 12 weeks and then an increase to £16.31.
