Qualifications

• Experience of managing a team of Drivers.
• Experience within a transport operation or fast-moving distribution environment.
• Experience of working within a unionised environment.
• Experience using telematics technology such as Mircolise or similar.
• Experience using workshop management systems such as R2C or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of drivers ensuring their training is up to date.
• Ensure the team maintains driving standards for compliance.
• Hold regular performance meetings with drivers.
• Collaborate with other teams to solve vehicle issues.
• Communicate operational information effectively with the team.
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of stock to stores.
• Investigate transport infringements and non-compliance.
• Monitor and allocate driver resources for transport schedule.
