At present all the people we support have several hours of 1:1 or 2:1 support during the day as well as some shared support day and night. The ideal employee will have a passion for working with people with enduring mental health, a keen interest in the psychology behind complex behaviours that challenge and the willingness to learn and practice Positive Behaviour Support. It's important to note that some people being supported may self-harm, have severe anxiety or also show behaviours of concern.
Provide night support to individuals with mental health, autism and learning disabilities; deliver one‑on‑one or small group care; manage challenging behaviours using Positive Behaviour Support; ensure safety and wellbeing; maintain care records; collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
