Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician (dealer or independent).
  • MOT Tester qualification (desirable, not essential).
  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Diagnose and rectify faults using diagnostic equipment.
  • Complete MOT preparation and inspections (if qualified).
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and within allocated times.
  • Maintain clear and accurate job cards and documentation.
  • Work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards.
  • Adhere to health & safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workshop.

Shift Pattern: 4 nights per week | 5:30pm - 4:30am

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Night Shift Vehicle Technician to join a busy, well‑equipped workshop. This role is ideal for a technician who works well independently and takes pride in producing high‑quality work during overnight operations.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults using diagnostic equipment.
  • Complete MOT preparation and inspections (if qualified).
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and within allocated times.
  • Maintain clear and accurate job cards and documentation.
  • Work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards.
  • Adhere to health & safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workshop.
Requirements
