Job summary

A health care provider is looking for experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistants in Hythe to provide one-to-one care for children with complex health needs. Duties will include monitoring health and providing support for various medical conditions. Flexible shift patterns are available, along with thorough paid training and wellbeing support. Qualifications

  • Experience in delivering care to complex clients, preferably in the community.
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Compassionate, confident, and gentle caring nature.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor heart health and follow seizure management plan.
  • Support visual and hearing impairments.
  • Assist with sleep routines and observe for disrupted sleep.
  • Monitor for chest infections and support respiratory health.
  • Provide mobility support and safe handling for clients.

Skills

Knowledge of infection control
Experience with chest infections
Experience in paediatric complex care
Experience in scoliosis management
Experience in seizure management
