Overview

Night Registered Veterinary NurseLeamington Spa, Warwickshire (Part-time, Permanent)

  • Excellent rota: 7 nights on, 14 nights off, averaging 28 hours per week, offering superb work/life balance.
  • Competitive salary package: £21,000–£22,400 per year plus annual leave, CPD, bank holiday pay, and additional benefits.

The Role

A Night Registered Veterinary Nurse is required to join a dedicated overnight team in a modern 24-hour hospital in Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to inpatients during night shifts, including patient monitoring, treatment administration, and ensuring smooth communication between day and night teams.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering exceptional inpatient care and monitoring throughout the night.
  • Supporting with surgical and medical procedures, including pre- and post-operative care.
  • Handling admissions, discharges, and patient transfers.
  • Conducting nurse-led consults and schedule 3 activities.
  • Dispensing and checking medication in line with regulations.
  • Maintaining professional standards and supporting effective team coordination.
Candidate Requirements
  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Strong clinical skills with experience in patient monitoring, emergency care, and consults.
  • Team-focused with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Experience in mentoring, coaching, or influencing colleagues would be advantageous.
