Are you calm under pressure confident working alone and committed to supporting vulnerable people We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Night Porter to join our dedicated team at Bridge Street supported living service in Shepshed.

Hours : Night shifts 21:15 to 07:45

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the safety and security of the building and residents throughout the night
  • Conducting regular checks (e.g. fire alarms emergency lighting extinguishers)
  • Monitoring CCTV and reporting faults or incidents
  • Logging and reporting repairs complaints risks and anti‑social behaviour
  • Responding to emergencies and following procedures appropriately
  • Maintaining accurate handover notes and communicating effectively with colleagues
  • Promoting a safe clean and healthy environment for all
Qualifications
  • Has experience working with vulnerable groups and understands professional boundaries
  • Is confident working alone and using their own initiative
  • Communicates clearly and listens actively
  • Can remain calm and diffuse challenging situations effectively

You’ll be supported by the Project Manager and wider team with access to ongoing training and development.
