As a News Video Editor, you will join a team at the backbone of our digital video output, shaping raw footage into compelling narratives that drive views, shares, and engagement. You’ll be responsible for editing high‑quality video content for breaking news, sport, showbiz, TV and our Fabulous content strands. There will be a focus on quick‑turnaround content which is optimised for platforms like YouTube, our own site and other social channels. You will ensure that every video adheres to the highest journalistic standards while also capturing what grabs the attention of online audiences. You should be comfortable managing people of different hierarchies and thrive on owning projects, seeing them through from conception to delivery. Taking responsibility for breaking news stories and the fast‑paced nature of covering them in video form is pivotal to this role.
