A market leading business in Belfast is seeking a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their structured finance team. This newly created role will report to the Financial Controller and is ideal for a technically strong accountant. The position offers a salary between £40,000 and £50,000 along with market-leading benefits and progression opportunities. Candidates should be qualified accountants with excellent Excel skills and capable of engaging with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with relevant certifications.
  • Excellent Excel and systems experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of management accounts and month end close.
  • Preparation of statutory year end accounts and liaison with the auditors.
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliations including foreign currency.
  • Perform other duties as required.
