Are you passionate about PCB design, manufacturing, and driving innovation? We’re looking for a talented NPI Engineer with experience in PCB design to join an advanced manufacturing team and take a lead role in ensuring products are designed and built to the highest industry standards.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work closely with design and engineering teams from the earliest stages of development to ensure PCB designs comply with IPC standards and are optimised for manufacturability.
  • Provide expert advice throughout the design process, recommending improvements for efficiency, quality, and ease of production.
  • Take ownership of new PCB product builds, ensuring they meet strict manufacturing standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with process engineering teams to identify and implement manufacturing process improvements, keeping an eye on emerging technologies and future capability needs.
  • Lead the PCB Design for Manufacturability (DFM) process, ensuring design teams fully understand the capabilities and limitations of in-house production facilities.

What we’re looking for:

  • HNC in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Some experience in PCB design, DFM processes, and manufacturing.
  • Experience with CAD software, PCB design tools, and Bill of Materials (BOM) management.
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement within the PCB design process.
  • Awareness of the latest trends and technologies in PCB manufacturing and design.
