A UK-based supplement manufacturer is looking for an experienced New Product Development – Flavourist to take ownership of flavor across its product portfolio. In this role, you'll collaborate with the R&D team to define and refine flavor standards while being involved in hands-on lab work. Responsibilities include developing flavor systems, troubleshooting flavor challenges, and ensuring the overall sensory experience of products. The ideal candidate has proven experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of supplement ingredient systems.

This role reports directly into the Head of NPD.
We are looking for an experienced New Product Development – Flavourist to take strategic ownership of flavour across our product portfolio, while remaining hands-on in the lab.
Working closely with our internal R&D team, including chemists and nutritionists, you will define, shape, and elevate the flavour direction of our supplement formulations. You will be responsible for setting flavour standards, guiding formulation decisions, and ensuring flavour intent is consistently delivered from concept through to final product.
Alongside this strategic ownership, the role requires strong practical capability. You will be actively involved in lab-based formulation work, producing bench samples, iterating recipes, and solving complex flavour challenges during development.
