Job summary

A vehicle manufacturing company is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for a 6-month contract in Woking. The role involves developing and standardising assembly processes for new model launches, collaborating with design and engineering teams, and improving production efficiency. Candidates should hold a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and have experience in vehicle assembly processes. This position offers an inside IR35 contract and opportunities for extension.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in planning and execution of new vehicle programmes.
• Strong data analysis capability with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardise vehicle assembly processes.
• Lead PFMEA creation and updates to improve delivery.
• Conduct time-and-motion studies across the plant.
• Support concept and design reviews.
