Job description
Overview

Leading UK firm are looking to add corporate solicitors with 2-5 years' PQE to their corporate team. There are positions in Glasgow and Edinburgh offices, with a generous work-from-home policy on offer.

Growth and Opportunities

These are not replacement hires — this team is in growth mode with aggressive expansion plans for Scotland. Importantly, it is not just Scottish work on offer; you will also work closely with colleagues in London and Manchester on English and international mandates, providing exposure for those interested in spending part of their career in London.

Role and Sectors

It is a deliberately broad role spanning private M&A, private equity and venture capital investment, corporate structuring and JV/strategic collaboration mandates, for clients in the technology, sports, infrastructure and retail sectors.

Candidates

The hiring Partner is happy to consider candidates from less established corporate practices or smaller firms, and those who have developed niche specialisms early in their career but want to broaden their corporate practice (for instance in early stage investment work).

Remuneration and Culture

Healthy remuneration and benefits for the Scottish market. One of the firm’s key strengths is the collegiate environment and leadership that actively discourages excessive working hours.
