Overview

Barchester Healthcare is one of the UK's market leading healthcare providers, the second largest in the UK with over 250 care homes and hospitals. They have a successful new builds programme with 10 new build homes being built and opened every year for the next three years, and they are rapidly expanding. This role as a New Build Marketing Executive is a rare opportunity to join their marketing team and contribute to the successful delivery of marketing for new home openings.

Main duties

As the New Build Marketing Exec, you will manage processes that underpin the successful delivery of marketing for Barchester's new home openings to drive commercial performance. This includes naming the home, artwork creation, offline campaign implementation, and the opening event. You will also contribute to budget control and reporting, and deliver clear, on-brand collateral for homes to use appropriately.

Job responsibilities

Hybrid working with regular travel to our London office and frequent visits to new build homes across the UK. You will meet on-site teams and tour our new homes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage processes for marketing new home openings to drive commercial performance, including naming, artwork, offline campaigns, and opening events
  • Assist with budget control and reporting; produce on-brand collateral for homes
  • Ensure systems support a smooth customer journey; set up call tracking and liaise with digital teams for digital elements
  • Liaise with media, creative, and print agencies to ensure timely delivery and on-brand messaging
  • Conduct competitor analyses for each new home and present key findings
  • Collaborate with Marketing team members to deliver Digital, PR, and CX elements on time
  • Source and manage appropriate names for new homes and obtain internal and local authority approvals
  • Coordinate with signage contractors for temporary and permanent signage; ensure local marketing tools (collateral, web-to-print) are available
  • Support grand opening event preparation and delivery (badges, goody bags, running order, on-site help)
