A leading independent forge company in Sheffield is seeking an experienced NDT Technician to perform ultrasonic inspections and ensure product quality. Responsibilities include generating certification and packing goods for despatch. Candidates should hold NAS 410 / EN 4179 Level 2 qualification and have a strong NDT background, ideally in aerospace or other safety-critical sectors. Due to this continued investment and growth, we are looking to add to our Technical team and we are looking for an experienced NDT Technician with a strong background in Ultrasonic testing. This is a regular days position working 37 hours per week with overtime available plus a strong package.
Reporting to the NDT Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of ultrasonic inspection of machined forgings and wrought products, marking identity numbers and packing goods for despatch when required. You should have a strong background in NDT, ideally with experience of working on Aerospace, Nuclear, Defence or other safety critical parts.
