Overview

This is a unique and interesting role where you will be responsible for notifying policing colleagues at the UK border when subjects of interest are entering or leaving the UK.

This tactic is one of many options that can be employed by the NBTC who work in conjunction with security services and police forces to support investigators, identify previously unknown people and apprehend those who seek to use the border to evade detection.

Responsibilities

• The team is responsible for a number of functions including issuing Port Alert Orders for Safeguarding matters, and supporting major investigations.
• Support to CT Policing HQ for National Operations which impact the UK borders.
• Work as part of a small, well-established team on a 6-week shift roster and receive full training to ensure you are confident and capable in the role.
