A healthcare organization is seeking Senior Medical & Dental Officers to provide patient care in Emergency Medicine. This role involves supervising junior medical staff and requires a Fellowship from the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine. Applications are invited from suitably qualified medical/dental practitioners for the above position(s) in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. The position will be primarily located at Nepean Hospital within the Department of Emergency Medicine.
Successful applicants will be highly motivated and competent emergency physicians.
The sessions will be in consultation with the successful appointees and the department but with no guarantee of hours or numbers of sessions as this appointment is on a zero‑hour basis. The sessions allocated will be on a rotating roster of days evening across the seven‑day week at Nepean Hospital Emergency Department. Appointees may be eligible for credentialing and privileging across all other facilities in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.
