Zaizi is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to work with a secure government client, helping to develop user-focused roadmaps for critical products. You will have full autonomy with support from experienced agile multi-disciplinary teams to co-design, prioritise and bring ideas to life.

What will you achieve at Zaizi?

As a product manager at Zaizi, you’ll:

• Lead one or more multidisciplinary Agile teams to identify problems, co-design and deliver solutions that balance user needs, organisational goals and sustainability.
• Deliver results at all stages of the product lifecycle, including Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live.
• Form an effective partnership with client product owners and stakeholders.
• Lead on negotiation about the most valuable outcomes we can deliver.
• Improve the product management capability at Zaizi by mentoring and coaching others.

Responsibilities

• Product ownership - translate user needs into deliverables, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and work with a range of specialists in multidisciplinary teams.
• Product management - develop and maintain product roadmaps, define minimum viable product, and prioritise with sometimes limited information.
• Agile working - experience in Agile or Kanban environments.
• Lifecycle experience - lead teams through Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live, selecting tools and techniques for each stage.
• User focus - understand users, their needs and behaviours, prioritise their most pressing needs, and coach others to do the same.
• Stakeholder management - facilitate buy-in from senior management and multidisciplinary teams; partner with clients to address their problems.
• DV Clearance is essential for a successful candidate.
• Analysis and research - use evidence (performance data and user research) to support decisions and articulate rationale clearly.
• Communication - excellent written and verbal skills; ability to explain complex concepts simply and write clear user stories.

Interview Process

1st stage: initial phone screening by a recruiter. 2nd stage: technical interview. Final stage: 10-15 minute presentation and a panel interview.

Salary: £70,000-£92,000
