Job summary

A specialist manufacturer in building-products is seeking a National Sales Manager for their innovative solar-enabled cladding solution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial cladding sales and be skilled in developing partnerships across the industry. This role requires national travel, as well as the ability to present solutions and support product demonstrations. A competitive salary of £70,000 - £75,000 plus commission is offered, along with the opportunity for career progression.

Overview

ASA Recruitment is supporting a specialist manufacturer in the commercial building-products sector. They are launching a new solar-enabled cladding solution and are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead national growth. This is a unique opportunity to join a business at the forefront of integrating building materials with renewable energy.

The Role

We're looking for a commercially driven senior sales professional with strong knowledge of commercial roof cladding, metal systems, or related building envelope products. You'll take ownership of developing manufacturer partnerships, installer networks, and national sales opportunities for an innovative solar-ready cladding product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead nationwide sales activity for a new commercial solar-cladding system
  • Build and strengthen relationships with cladding manufacturers, distributors, contractors and installers
  • Establish long-term partnership and OEM agreements
  • Carry out site surveys, technical assessments and produce accurate quotations
  • Present solutions to clients, distributors and installation partners
  • Support product demonstrations, training and technical onboarding
  • Contribute to pricing strategy, sales planning and market expansion
What We're Looking For
  • Strong experience in commercial cladding, façades, roofing, or building envelope sales
  • Network across manufacturers, contractors, or distributors in the North of England or nationally
  • Ability to understand technical drawings, roof systems and installation processes
  • Proven track record in developing partnerships and driving national sales growth
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
