We are pleased to advertise an exciting opportunity to join NHS Resolution's Early Notification (EN) team, working within the Safety and Learning Directorate, as a National Obstetric Clinical Fellow on a fixed‑term or secondment basis for one year. The post is available from February 2026 onwards and is open to negotiation. Pay is Band AfC 8b or equivalent. The EN Scheme has played a vital role in maternity care, requiring all maternity services to notify NHS Resolution of incidents where there is potential for long‑term severe brain injury.
• Review case files to provide clinical opinion.
• Give feedback to support system-wide learning from claims.
• Lead on an individual project for publication.
• Represent NHS Resolution at external meetings with partner organisations.
• Attend local, regional and national events.
