A leading retailer in the UK is seeking an experienced logistics manager to oversee warehouse operations across their distribution centres. You will manage key relationships with service providers to ensure safety, service, and quality standards are met. The role involves driving continuous improvements, developing strategic goals, and handling full P&L responsibilities for freight and warehousing. This position presents a unique opportunity to lead significant projects, including setting up new distribution centres and implementing multi-channel e-commerce solutions. Strong leadership and logistics experience are essential.

Reporting to the Logistics Director you will be responsible for:
Warehouse operations within UK managing key relationships with service providers around safety, service and quality. Operationally, this role will lead the development of the providers around safety, service and quality.
Covering warehousing, distribution and transport. In addition, day to day you will provide excellence in leadership capability, support and develop strategic goals and plans to drive a positive change and a safe work-life-balance culture.
At the same time, identifying processes to streamline continuous improvements and full P&L responsibility for freight and warehousing within UK
You will be responsible for the business Case for large Projects.
Setting up a large General Merchandise – Distribution centre.
Responsible for 2 man Home Delivery.
Setting up and Implementation of the Multi Channel E Commerce.
Warehouse Solution for Live Plant Fulfilment centres.
Ensuring continuous Improvement Plans are in place.
