Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in FMCG Account Management, ideally in Grocery, High Street, Discounter or Pharmacy environments.
  • Experience in managing Joint Business Plans and presenting proposals.
  • Strong ability to build long-term customer relationships.

What you'll be doing
  • Own and manage a portfolio of national retail accounts, delivering profitable growth through best-in-class in-store execution
  • Build and implement clear account strategies aligned with Karo's commercial priorities
  • Develop, agree and manage Joint Business Plans to meet shared customer and Karo objectives
  • Build strong, productive relationships with key customer stakeholders across buying, category and supply
  • Drive competitive levels of distribution, visibility and availability across the Karo portfolio
  • Lead the launch and distribution of innovation within your accounts
  • Plan, execute and evaluate promotions to maximise return on investment
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support the prescription medicine business (where applicable)
  • Deliver annual P&L targets, from net sales through to gross profit
  • Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory and internal standards
Requirements
  • Degree-educated, with 3+ years' experience in FMCG Account Management, ideally within Grocery, High Street, Discounter or Pharmacy environments
  • Proven sales and negotiation experience in a fast-moving consumer goods environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of FMCG P&L mechanics
  • Experience using category data and insights to drive growth decisions
  • Confident managing Joint Business Plans and presenting commercial proposals to senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to set strategic direction for accounts beyond the base plan
  • Track record of building long-term customer relationships and delivering mutual value
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience in Health & Beauty Care is an advantage, but not essential
  • Self-motivated, resilient and comfortable working in a high-growth, evolving environment
  • Collaborative, clear communicator with leadership potential and alignment with Karo values
